ADOPT A BEAR

A program established to develop the childhood learning years, maintaining good diet, good health and providing for the basic necessities of the children and family, a program designed to work with the children in development of responsibilities and a sense of belonging to a group with a common goal.

The bears are adopted by the child allowing them to pick their type and style of bear, each bear is  registered by serial number with the name and location of the child. The child and a adult family member or guardian will sign a contract stating he or she will take care of the bear and if the bear should be injured over time he or she will contact the agent in that area to have the bear repaired. The terms of the contract will be explained to the child and the adult family member or guardian.

The agent in the area checks on the condition of the child once a month , and will report to the board as to the results of his or her checks on all the bears in that area.
